Features

The group of recommended videos has been added as an option in Media Related Algorithm. The video groups can now be re-ordered.

Video locking​

This feature allows locking a certain video for unregistered users. Through the VP Apps admin, the user can set the time after which the video will be locked, and if a user is not logged in or registered, they will see a message prompting them to log in, in order to continue watching the video.

‘New’ sticker on videos​

All the videos that have been published no earlier than 24 hours, will have a “New” sticker on the video card. The sticker will appear statically, based on the publication date of the video.

Player component on homepage​

This feature adds support for the player component on the homepage.

Highlighting liking and disliking comments in media page​

In the styling section of the comments component, the default and active colors can be configured for each icon. This means that when a like or dislike icon is clicked, its active color will be applied.

Audience management in chat​

Through the VP Apps admin, the access of the audience to the chat can be limited by banning them from the chat. In this case, they will not be able to interact with the chat unless they are unblocked.

Messages management in chat​

Messages in chat can be deleted instantly through the VP Apps admin. The deleted messages will be removed from the Live chat in real time.

Vertical player​

Imported vertical players in VP Apps are now supported on the client side.

Players and ad schedule management​

Certain pages from VP Player  have been embedded in the VP Apps UI, to make players management and ad schedule management easier.

Simply click on the ‘Ad schedules’ section under the media, or navigate to the ‘Players’ section, where on edit you access the VP Player UI and manage everything from there, given that you have the right permissions.
