Media and content visibility

  • Public: When the visibility of a media or a group instance is set to public, it implies that it is visible from the end-users, as long as it is shared.
  • Private: A private video or a group instance will not be visible by the end users.
  • Unlisted: An unlisted video is not seen by the end users if it is included in the content filtering on your site, but it would be visible in case the user decides to embed this video in another website.

The visibility of a video changes automatically based on the scheduling set for the media. I.e If a video is scheduled for a future date, and its current visibility is private, its visibility will be set to public when the scheduled date arrives.
