The new release will include the upgrades, features, and issue fixes listed below:

Client v2.0.11​

Features​

  • Feature: Password Protected Videos

A new feature has been added in VP's visibility section. If the user selects this option, they must add a password, preventing the end user from watching the video without entering it.

  • Feature: Pin and Drag & Drop option

Pin option has been added to organizations, projects, channels, ad schedules, and players. Users can select "pin" or "unpin" from the three dots menu. Only three components can be pinned at a time. Additionally, users now have the ability to drag and drop these components to reorder them as desired.

  • Feature: Analytics Download Option

In the Video, Live Video, Audio, and Podcast Analytics sections, admin can now download the data shown as a XLS file.

  • Feature: Re-encode option

The re-encode option for videos has been added to the three dots menu on the video listing page. When the user clicks on this option, they can choose whether to re-encode the current video or to change the link and add another video.

  • Feature: Save livestream up to 24h

Livestreams can now be saved for up to 24 hours.

  • Feature: Encoded minutes per quality

In the usage history, the "Encoded Minutes" column will display the encoded minutes per each quality for both video and audio, accessible via the information (i) icon.

Upgrade​

  • Upgrade: Livestream Thumbnail Functionality: Future Publish Date Warning Integration

Thumbnails can be added to Livestream even if the video is not live. Also, if the publish date is set in the future, the warning will appear above the thumbnail.

Player v.2.0.9​

Features​

  • Feature: Midrolls should not be placed during the sentence

The auto-generation of subtitles feature enables to detect when personas are speaking in videos, ensuring ads are not displayed during these moments. To use this option, users should go to the player edit page, at Advanced settings, and enable the Midroll Sentence Alignment option.

Please note that this feature requires auto-generated subtitles to function properly.
