Feature: Embedding of the podcast with preselected episode
An embed button has been added to each podcast episode. When clicked, a pop-up appears for embedding, preselecting the current episode as default, with other episodes shown in the order they appear in the VP admin. This allows editors to embed the podcast into articles, ensuring it remains on a specific episode rather than updating to the latest one, while still displaying the full playlist.
Feature: Chapter Management: VTT Files for Video and Audio
Chapter management has been implemented for videos and audios, allowing users to create and manage chapters via the video/audio edit page and API, with chapters displayed in the player's seek bar and filmstrip. A chapters.vtt file is generated and distributed via CDN, enabling the VP Player to load and display chapters.
Feature: Introducing Custom Reports for Audio and Podcasts
The implementation of audio and podcast Custom Reports adds an additional option for generating reports tailored to audio and podcast data, mirroring the functionality and design already in place for video reports.
Feature: Client Goes Live with DRM Solution
We are excited to announce that one of VP clients has launched their service using our DRM solution for the first time. This client is now live with DRM protection enabled for their content. We are proud to support this client's content protection needs and help them deliver a secure streaming experience to their users.
