Release Notes for Client v2.0.18​

  • Feature: Geo-blocking Rules for Live Videos
    • Users can now set geo-blocking rules for live videos to allow or deny access from different countries.

Fixes​

Various bug fixes and performance improvements to enhance user experience.

  • FIX: Cannot Stop Live Video
    • When stopping a live stream from OBS and exiting the application, the live video status incorrectly shows as 'Processing', and attempting to stop the video results in an error message.
  • FIX: EventType syncing bug
    • Existing events were attempted to be re-added to Svix.
  • FIX: Check why "Video ProjectId" property is set 0 in custom reports
  • FIX: Embedded Livestream Continues Until VOD Encoding Completes
    • Fixed an issue where the embedded livestream continued playing until VOD encoding was complete, ensuring it now stops immediately when the "Stop & Cut" or "Stop" button is clicked.
  • FIX: Channel Not Removed from Listing Page After Deletion
  • FIX: Case Covers on Loop for Whole Video Duration
  • FIX: Live video not possible to switch live
  • FIX: Invalidate all qualities, when video is re-encoded

  • Update: Added support for various mobile aspect ratios in fullscreen mode.
  • Update: videoProjectId is added to the analytics events.
  • Fix: Resolved UI bug occurring during video switching.
