Release Notes for Client 2.0.7

  • Upgrade: Livestream Version Two
    • Building upon the refinement of the live encoder, this update enhances and streamlines the workflow and distribution of livestreams.
  • Feature: Podcast Analytics
    • This release introduces the implementation of podcast analytics, offering users deeper insights into the performance of their podcast content..

Key Implementations:

  1. Comprehensive Data Overview:
    • Explore the podcast metrics, including embeds, average listen time, total listeners, unique listeners, overall listen time, and listen per episode.
    • Top countries and devices are included, each accompanied by a graphical representation.
  2. Live Listener Graph:
    • The live listener graph remains consistent, illustrating the number of live listeners over the last two minutes. The graph supports three data points: one reflecting the number of live listeners two minutes ago, another for one minute ago, and the third for the current moment.
  3. Filter Options:
    • Users can conveniently filter all data for today, the last 7 days, last month, last 2 months, or set custom time frames.
    Note: Filtering is not applicable to periods before one of the podcast content’s was uploaded.
  4. Live Listener Stability:
    • Live listeners remain stable and are unaffected by applied filters.
    • Other metrics dynamically adjust based on the selected filters.
  5. Enhanced Episode Details:
    • The podcast analytics page includes a table presenting number of listeners for each podcast episode.
  • Feature: Audio Analytics - In this release, the analytics for audio content have been implemented as well. These improvements are designed to offer users a more comprehensive and adaptable understanding of their audio content's performance.

    Key Implementation:

    1. Comprehensive Data Overview:

    2. Live Listener Graph:
      • The live listener graph remains consistent, illustrating the number of live listeners over the last two minutes. The graph supports three data points: one reflecting the number of live listeners two minutes ago, another for one minute ago, and the third for the current moment.
    3. Average View Duration:
      • Average view duration is now presented both as a numeric value and a percentage.
      • Detailed tracking enables users to observe the accumulation of views per second/minute.
    4. Filter Options:
      • Users can conveniently filter all data for today, the last 7 days, last month, last 2 months, or set custom time frames.
      • Note: Filtering is not applicable to periods before the audio content was uploaded.
  • Feature: Duplication of ad schedules

    • Project and organization owners can easily duplicate ad schedules directly from the listing page using the three dots menu. This includes duplicating within the same project or across different projects
  • Feature: ‘Recently Deleted’ Videos

    • Deleted videos are now moved to the "Recently Deleted" section for 30 days.
    • Exclusive access to the "Recently Deleted" section is granted to project/organization owners.
    • Recovery is possible within the 30-day window.
    • After 30 days, videos are permanently deleted, unless manually removed from the "Recently Deleted" section earlier.
  • Upgrade: Expanded Data Grouping Options in Custom Reports

    • Users can now group the data information based on Host, Host & Path, Host, Path & Query.
  • Upgrade: Add only published audios in RSS

    • Only published audios will appear in the RSS feed. If an audio has a future publish date, it won't be included in the RSS feed until that date arrives. Additionally, when embedding the podcast, the audio won't be displayed until its scheduled publish date. While admin can view the audio in the admin section, it remains hidden from the public in both RSS and embedded displays until the publish date.

Design Updates

  • Previously, you could only see the newest 10 videos or audios when making a playlist or podcast. Now, you can just keep scrolling to see all of them. It covers all your videos or audios in one go.
  • Updated design to make the channels that are live more visible for a better user experience.
  • When you switch tabs in Project Settings, Organization Settings, Players tab, and across various sections with tabs, the URL now dynamically is updated to reflect the current tab.
  • Design update of the pop-up that appears after uploading video(s) and audio(s) in the bottom-left of the page.
