The new release will include the upgrades, features, and issue fixes listed below:

• Feature: Diarization Model for Transcription

  • An additional transcription model has been implemented to support the diarization feature of AI-generated subtitles.
    Note: This model is not enabled by default.

• Feature: Webhook Notifications for Live Videos

  • A Live video runtime alert is now available as a webhook notification when a livestream exceeds a certain duration. This helps users monitor livestream usage and prevent unexpected costs.

• Update: Livestream Notifications in Organization Settings

  • The number of permanent livestreams and total livestream hours have been added as data types for calculating budget consumption and monthly reports.

• Feature: Playlist Filtering by Multiple Aspect Ratios

  • Playlists now support filtering videos by multiple aspect ratios.

• Feature: Recently Deleted Audios

  • VP Admin now includes a Recently Deleted Audios page where deleted audio files can be reviewed, restored, or permanently deleted.

Player

• Update: Live Video Preloading Enhancement
  • Livestreams now start in the lowest quality until playback begins. The stream then switches to auto quality (with only initial chunks remaining low quality if autostart is on, or until playback if off). When paused or out of view, streams drop in quality or stop loading after 30 seconds. Upon resume or returning to view, the stream returns to the previous quality settings.

Vertical Player

• Feature: Playback Position Tracking
  • The getPosition() function has been implemented for the vertical player, allowing for video playback position tracking and complete analytics for vertical video content.
