- Content editors can now format audio and podcast descriptions using rich text, including bold, italic, links, and lists.
Feature: Blurhash Thumbnail Loading
- Video thumbnails are now rendered progressively from a Blurhash placeholder, resulting in faster perceived load times and a smoother visual experience.
Feature: Light Streaming Option
- A new light streaming mode is available in the Player Setup tab, offering a lower-bandwidth playback option suitable for users on slower connections.
Feature: Podcast RSS Filter
- Podcasts can now be filtered based on their RSS synchronization status, making it easier to manage and audit synced content.
Feature: Seamless Video Looping on Vertical Player
- Videos within a playlist can now loop seamlessly on the vertical player, enabling continuous playback experiences without interruption.
Update: Automatic Deletion of Original Files After 3 Months
- To manage storage efficiently, original uploaded files are automatically removed after 3 months while encoded versions are retained. This feature is not enabled by default. Contact support to enable it for your account.
Update: Full Custom Parameters via Playlist API
- All video custom parameters are now loaded through the playlist API, ensuring they are consistently available across playback contexts.

- Background media playback has been optimised to consume less bandwidth when the player is not in focus.
Feature: Ad Tag URL Substitute Parameters
- Static ad schedules now support dynamic substitute parameters such as {count} and {position} within ad tag URLs, enabling more precise ad targeting.
Upgrade: HLS Updated to v1.6.13
- The underlying HLS library has been updated for improved stability and compatibility.
